Daisy Acquires Automation Design + Entertainment, Expands Into Midwest
Daisy has acquired Automation Design + Entertainment (ADE), a longtime technology integration firm based in western Michigan. The move marks Daisy’s first expansion into the Midwest and brings the company’s total number of locations to 20 across eight states.
Founded and led by Peter Cook, ADE has served residential and commercial clients in the region for more than 30 years. The company has been recognized with several industry honors, including the Electronic House Home of the Year Gold award, the Consumer Technology Association’s Mark of Excellence award, and inclusion in the CE Pro 100.
“We are thrilled to welcome the ADE team to Daisy,” said Hagan Kappler, Daisy co-founder and CEO. “The team’s reputation for business excellence provides a strong foundation for Daisy to build out a broader Midwest presence.”
Cook will continue to lead the Michigan branch under the Daisy brand. He is a CEDIA Certified Electronic Systems Designer, a THX-certified home theater designer and instructor, and an active member of the Home Builders Association.
Daisy has grown its footprint through a combination of franchising and acquisitions, positioning itself as a national provider of smart home and small business technology installation services.
