Behind the Booth at InfoComm 2026: An Interview With Visix’s Sean Matthews
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST

InfoComm 2026 is about more than product launches — it’s about the people, strategies and ideas driving the next phase of the AV industry. In this Q&A series, exhibitors share what they’re showcasing at the show, the trends influencing their roadmap and the conversations they’re hoping to have with integrators, consultants and end users in Las Vegas. In this edition, we spoke with Sean Matthews from Visix.
Q: What trends or challenges in the AV industry most influenced what you’re bringing to InfoComm 2026 this year?
A: The workplace has fundamentally changed and so have the demands on the technology that supports it. As hybrid work has matured from a stopgap into a permanent operating model, organizations are moving past the “just make it work” phase and asking harder questions: How do we make our spaces more intelligent? How do we communicate more effectively with a workforce that’s never all in one place at the same time?
Two forces are reshaping how we answer those questions. First, ePaper display technology has taken a quantum leap forward. We’re no longer talking about simple black and white signs with limited utility. Today’s ePaper panels are vibrant, multi-color, large-format, and capable of running for years on a single charge with no wire in sight. That changes the economics and logistics of room and desk signage dramatically. Second, AI has crossed the threshold from novelty to necessity in content creation. Teams everywhere are using AI in their personal lives; they expect the same kind of intelligent assistance inside the enterprise tools they use every day. We’ve embraced both shifts deliberately, because we believe the organizations that communicate best will compete best, and we want to give them every advantage.
Q: What specific solution, product or capability should attendees make a point to see at your booth — and what real-world problem does it solve?
A: Our ePaper sign (EPS) line is the centerpiece of our booth, and it’s worth stopping for. We now offer five sizes of wireless ePaper displays spanning three-color, four-color, and full-color options. Every sign runs on battery power for 5+ years, mounts on virtually any surface without drilling or cabling, and communicates over a dedicated RF network that keeps your corporate Wi-Fi completely unencumbered.
This isn’t incremental improvement. It’s a fundamentally different approach to room signs, desk signs, and workspace wayfinding. Think about what it means to deploy a scalable signage network without touching a single wall, without hiring an electrician, and without running a single cable. For organizations managing office hoteling and hotdesking environments, the EPS line removes nearly every barrier to modern space communication.
We’re also showcasing the latest release of our AxisTV Signage Suite digital signage CMS, which now includes a fully integrated AI Assistant for content creation. Users can generate polished copy in multiple tones, produce AI-generated imagery, and create professional-grade content in minutes with no design team required. Together, these two innovations represent the future of workplace communication: effortless and intelligent.
Q: Where are you seeing the most momentum right now in the AV market — and how is your company positioning itself to meet that demand?
A: Our momentum right now is in ePaper, and the numbers tell the story. We’re tracking triple-digit growth in this segment, and we believe we’re just at the beginning of a much larger curve. While large portions of the AV market remain focused on traditional LCD deployments, a significant and underserved opportunity exists in untapped verticals we specialize in: legal, professional services, financial firms, and enterprise organizations managing complex, multi-location environments.
These are sophisticated buyers. They’re running multinational operations, they care deeply about brand consistency, and they’re making decisions that span hundreds or thousands of endpoints. For them, the value proposition of ePaper is immediately compelling: low cost per endpoint, zero infrastructure burden, stunning visual quality, and enterprise-grade scalability. We’re regularly seeing these engagements develop into six-figure opportunities that open the door to broader technology integration partnerships.
To meet this demand with confidence, we’ve made a deliberate operational commitment to stocking inventory six months in advance. In an uncertain macroeconomic environment, that’s how we ensure our partners and clients never hear the word “backorder.” We’re investing in being reliably prepared for the growth we know is coming.
Q: For integrators, consultants and end users trying to navigate the show floor efficiently, what makes your booth worth adding to their must-visit list?
A: We ask for nine minutes. That’s it. In nine minutes at booth C7814, you’ll see one of the most comprehensive digital signage and room management portfolios on the show floor and walk away with a clear picture of where the industry is headed.
Our ePaper lineup alone is worth the visit: five sign sizes of three-color, four-color and full-color displays, and mounts for glass, melamine, drywall, and virtually any architectural surface. All of it completely wireless, all of it designed to deploy without a single cable or wall penetration. For integrators, that’s a conversation-changer with clients who’ve been burned by installation costs. For end users, it means you can right-size your signage footprint and scale it without a costly and time-consuming facilities project.
Beyond ePaper, we’ll show you why Visix leads in calendar integrations across both our ePaper signs and AxisTV digital signage displays, with more supported calendar platforms than any other vendor. And we’ll demonstrate our AI-powered content tools that give any team member the ability to create compelling signage in minutes.
Come with your toughest questions. Grab a free beverage and a cookie while you’re at it. We’re proud of what we’ve built, and we like sharing it in real conversations.
Q: Without giving everything away, is there anything new or unexpected attendees should keep an eye out for at your booth?
A: Zero wires. Zero limits. That’s the thread running through everything new at our booth this year.
The big reveal is the EPS 320, our 32-inch wireless ePaper sign. Weighing just five pounds, it delivers full-color imagery at 1440×2560 resolution with a nearly 180-degree viewing angle. It’s the largest display in our EPS family, and it opens up use cases that weren’t possible before: lobby directories, large-format event signage, and workspace wayfinding maps that are actually readable from a distance. All of it battery-powered. All of it wireless.
But beyond the hardware, we want attendees to walk away with a different mental model about what’s possible when you remove the constraint of “where can I run a cable?” If there’s a surface, there’s a sign. Glass walls. Open-plan dividers. Drywall. Anywhere you want to communicate with your workforce, students, or visitors, we have a sign and a mounting solution that fits.
Pair that with AI-assisted content creation built directly into our CMS, and you have a platform where any organization, regardless of technical sophistication or creative resources, can communicate beautifully, dynamically, and at scale. That’s the vision we’re bringing to InfoComm 2026, and we can’t wait to show it off.
