First of all, Gary explains what’s going on with Microsoft Teams’ tracking update in his latest Rants & rAVes. Want to know more about how Teams is allowing managers to “track” employees? Check it out here.

Also, we’ve rounded up all our rAVe [TV] episodes from this month! From how AI is helping Crestron innovate to new CEOs to acquisitions and more, you’ll find it all in these past episodes.

Finally, you’ll get to check out a new episode of The rAVe Esports Show With Bubba Gaeddert. Enjoy!

FEATURED RANTS & RAVES EPISODE

Episode 1471: Microsoft Teams Now Allows You To Be Tracked, Almost Anywhere. Here’s Why That Matters

In this episode, I’m digging into Microsoft’s latest Teams update — one that’s raising a few eyebrows. Starting in December, Teams will automatically mark users as “in the office” when they connect to their organization’s Wi-Fi network. It’s meant to make hybrid work smoother, but it also opens the door to new questions about privacy and workplace tracking.

Episode 242: The Future of Meeting Rooms, with Crestron’s Joel Mulpeter and Neat’s Tormod Ree

Tim Albright and I host an End-User Edition of rAVe [TV] with a quick pop-in from Gary, and we look at rAVe’s latest Temperature Check on cybersecurity in AV. We chat with Crestron’s Joel Mulpeter about what AI is actually doing in meeting rooms and whether it is improving collaboration or just adding noise. Then we sit down with Neat’s Tormod Ree to discuss simplicity, the Neat Board 32 and what end users should ask before refreshing small rooms or hotel desks. P.S. Register for the Audio Symposium on Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. ET.
