Hello, everyone. I want to remind you of the concert renaissance phenomenon once more. Now, I may sound like a crotchety old lady, but were concert tickets always this difficult to get? No matter the artist, over the past year, I have had to fight for my life to even get through the queue. Just for all the tickets to be gone. Does this signal the resurgence of the live events industry or just the resurgence of bots? I’m not sure but hopefully one day I will figure that out. In the meantime, if anyone wants to find me a ticket to Sabrina Carpenter’s tour … let me know!
I’ll stop grumbling now.
Anyway, one interesting live event, for sure, is the Olympics. They may have just ended in Paris, but in Bubba Gaeddert’s latest article, he talks about how the Esports World Cup could open up an entirely new era of gaming.
Enjoy and I hope you all have a great week.
