LG Electronics announced three new additions to its UltraWide monitor family: the 40-inch UltraFine monitor and the 38-inch and 34-inch UltraWide curved monitors.
The company said the new additions are designed to support modern professional workflows. LG cited the increasing shift to hybrid workflows and complex digital workflows as why professionals now rely on displays that can support multiple tasks simultaneously.
“Work today often means moving between multiple windows and tasks without missing a beat,” said Stephen K. Hu, commercial monitor head at LG Electronics USA. “We designed this lineup to give users a more flexible workspace on a single screen, while making it easier to keep their setup clean and efficient.”
The 40-inch UltraFine monitor has a Nano IPS Black display with a DCI-P3 99 percent color coverage. The display’s wider screen allows more content to be viewed at once, supporting more efficient multitasking.
The 38-inch UltraWide curved monitor is built for users who need room to manage multiple windows, tools or systems at the same time. It has a 37.5-inch WQHD+ (3840 × 1600) display that offers the screen space needed for multitasking, DCI-P3 98 percent color coverage and VESA DisplayHDR 600.
The 38-inch monitor also has Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture to help divide the screen for multiple inputs, and the built-in KVM switch with Dual Controller lets users operate more than one computer with a single keyboard and mouse.
The 34-inch UltraWide curved monitor is designed for day-to-day productivity, and the display gives users more room to view webpages, documents and other on-screen content.
A 100Hz refresh rate supports smooth viewing during daily use, while USB-C with up to 65W power delivery allows for single-cable laptop connectivity.
