QSC announced an expansion Thursday of the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform. The expansion introduces new solutions, including the Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems, Q-SYS Connect, MPA‑Q Series network amplifiers, X Class Server Core X50r and the Control & UCI Training Milestone Credential. QSC said that these products were introduced in an effort to improve collaboration spaces in a way that is applicable to higher-impact settings, entertainment and hospitality.
The Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems utilizes a no-code, web-based workflow and centralized cloud management through Q-SYS Reflect. The solutions are designed for medium-to-large spaces and fast deployment. The RMP-100 employs a built-in network switch for Q-SYS collaborations as well as bridging functionality and AV distribution. The QIO-VEN4 expansion module is built into the solution in an effort to closer positioning of peripherals to AV bridging endpoints.
“Our customers already rely on the Q-SYSTM Full Stack AV Platform to deliver their most demanding, highly customizable spaces,” says Sanjay Kulkarni, VP of Product, Q-SYS. “Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems extend that platform into standardized collaboration solutions across more space types, enabling a more complete, high-performance workplace under a single platform.”
The Q-SYS connect serves as a solution for Zoom Rooms and divisible meeting spaces. The product links controllers to the Windows-based compute device for flexibility. The Q-SYS Connect uses Q-SYS TSC-101-G3 hardware along with the Windows software to support meeting room control.
The company also introduced the MPA‑Q Series Network Amplifiers, a mid-power tier solution. The solution serves as an extension of Q‑SYS integration in commercial and entertainment spaces to hospitality, retail and corporate settings. The launch includes four and eight-channel models with a range of 125 to 500 watt capabilities.
The X Class Server Core X50r AV&C processors were designed to support hospitality and entertainment AV installations through a combination of the Q‑SYS Full Stack AV Platform and DSP processing power.
QSC also announced the Control & UCI Training Milestone Credential, achievable through compilation of “The Big Exam,” which is available to those who have completed the Control & UCI Advanced course on Lua Scripting.
