Shelly Group has introduced its Gen4 Series smart home product lineup, featuring support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Matter protocols. The Gen4 Series includes updated devices such as relays, switches, sensors, and plug-and-play modules. Designed for both beginners and advanced users, the lineup offers solutions for lighting, appliance control, energy management, home safety, and environmental monitoring. Compatible with platforms like Google Home and Alexa, the devices are easy to use but also support advanced customization. With Matter certification, they integrate seamlessly with Apple HomeKit.
New Gen4 Products:
- Shelly Plug US Gen4: An upgraded smart plug for U.S. outlets, supporting multiple protocols. It controls lighting and 120V appliances up to 1800W. The plug’s energy management features allow users to automate schedules, reduce energy waste, and lower utility bills.
- Shelly Flood Sensor Gen4: A wireless water leak sensor that sends alerts when water is detected, helping prevent water damage. It is designed to monitor areas prone to leaks, such as sinks, water heaters, washers, sump pumps, and basements.
- Shelly Wall Display X2: A 6.95-inch touchscreen control panel that fits standard wall electrical boxes. It includes built-in temperature, humidity, and light sensors.
- Shelly PM Gen4 Relays: These relays turn switches, outlets, fixtures, or appliances into smart devices and provide detailed power consumption data. They help users monitor energy usage, identify inefficiencies, and manage energy more sustainably.
- Shelly 1PM Mini Gen4: Billed as the world’s smallest relay, it automates lights, garage doors, and small appliances. Features include scheduling, synchronization, and scene control.
The Gen4 devices are expected to be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2025.
