The 444K-985-USB is ideal for extending all the functions of a PC over long distances using standard networking cable. The unit is fully featured enabling many other devices to be added in the signal extension including Touch Screens, Kiosks, Interactive Displays and Digital Signage Players.

With near zero latency the 444K-985-USB is ideal for extending HIDs introducing no visual delay to the on-screen interaction. Local console support enables dual control or support enhancements.

INSTALLATION BENEFITS

The 444K-985-USB has been designed to maximise the benefits with its features and functionality. Incorporating USB 2.0 enables most USB peripherals to be included in the extension. Dual port connections at the receiver are ideal for mouse and keyboard but additional devices can be added by connecting a hub. Local USB ports and HDMI output on the transmitter allow the service engineer to connect into the system for maintenance or offer dual control.

The 444K-985-USB can be powered from either end removing the need for a bulky PSU and allowing easy installation into the existing furniture. De-embedded audio connection at the receiver allow easy integration into a stereo or surround sound system for a more inclusive experience.

The 444K-985-USB also provides additional extension of other control signals via Infrared and RS232 which allow the unit to encompasses other solutions like extending DVDs, Digital Signage and cameras for security or video conferencing.
