SurgeX To Showcase Squid Power Management System and More at ISE 2022

SurgeX announced it will unveil the Squid Power Management System, a solution the company says creates a “solid power foundation for AV and IT system installations,” at ISE 2022. Squid provides a versatile power foundation by combining both AC and DC outlets with SurgeX’s Multi-Stage surge protection, power conditioning, power management and analytical software.

Squid also offers complete power management capabilities, such as sequencing, scheduling, auto-ping, IP Control and monitoring. It is in compliance with network security protocols such as 802.1x authentication and active directory.

SurgeX will also showcase solutions from its Online Double Conversion UPS range at ISE 2022. This includes the SurgeX Online Double Conversion UPS, 1KVA, 230 V unit that can deliver continuous power via online double conversion technology to ensure the safe shutdown of equipment in the event of an outage. All incoming power is converted from AC to DC and then back to AC. The zero-transfer time guarantees mission-critical equipment remains up and running.

SurgeX will also showcase the Defender Series, a comprehensive mains protection and conditioning range designed to reduce equipment downtime in the event of a power surge and protect equipment functionality. According to SurgeX, other company products will be featured on the RGB Stand and will include the SurgeX Remote Turn-On, which features Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology to protect sensitive equipment.
