Telycam announced that its Explore and Vision+ series of PTZ cameras are now certified as compatible with SKAARHOJ’s hardware control surfaces, expanding integration options for professional AV and broadcast workflows.

The integration is enabled via the VISCA control protocol, allowing users to control Telycam cameras alongside other SKAARHOJ-connected equipment, such as switchers, cinema cameras and audio systems. The pairing is designed to simplify live production environments by offering centralized, tactile control for multi-device setups.

Among the supported cameras is Telycam’s Explore XE 4K PTZ model, which features a one-inch sensor and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) for high-quality imaging in broadcast applications.

Telycam users can now operate their PTZ cameras using a range of SKAARHOJ panels, including the PTZ Extreme, PTZ Pro and Air Fly controllers. The integration also supports SKAARHOJ’s Blue Pill operating system, which enables custom layouts and multi-camera management.

The entire configuration can be deployed over standard LAN infrastructure, offering flexibility for installations in corporate AV, education, houses of worship and live event production. According to the companies, this setup allows integrators to scale systems from single-operator environments to large, multi-camera facilities with ease.
