Waves Audio to Display Fader Expansions, Mixing Consoles and Processing Engines at NAB 2026
Waves Audio announced a series of new products and updates that will be displayed at NAB, including fader expansions, mixing consoles and processing engines.
The eMotion LV1 Control is a fader expansion for Waves LV1 live mixing consoles, allowing users to expand their LV1 fader count. The product includes 17 motorized 100mm faders, 17 encoders and 17 mini-displays featuring per-channel LCD metering.
“The LV1 Control expansion is another step in our vision of continually evolving the LV1. We are committed to having LV1 serve shows, venues and productions of diverse sizes, with diverse workflow and creative needs. This release affirms our dedication to the ongoing development and future growth of the LV1 platform,” Noam Raz, general manager of Waves’ Live Sound division, said.
Also on display will be the eMotion LV1 Classic, a live mixing console designed for live production and broadcast workflows. The product offers up to 80 stereo channels, 160 inputs and 52 buses with flexible routing.
Waves said the LV1 Classic functions as a compact broadcast mixing solution, combining the traditional console with the scalability and processing flexibility required for modern environments.
These two products can work together, as the Control can expand the Classic’s fader count, doubling it from 17 to 34.
Each LV1 channel can be populated by the user’s processor of choice, and doesn’t have to be locked into any particular channel-strip processing.
Also on display will be Waves’ SuperRack LiveBox live processing engine, which are available in Dante and MADI-ready units.
The product enables access to the power of the optional studio-grade VST3 plugins, all running natively in a simple and robust turnkey solution.
The product does not require a complex setup, just hook up the LiveBox to a console and start mixing. Including Dante or MADI connectivity options ensures that users are good to go in all popular live console setups.
Each LiveBox purchase now includes the Immersive Wrapper plugin, which transforms VST3 mono plugins into immersive multichannel processors.
