Magnetic 3D Unveils Hypervue Creator Suite for Glasses-Free 3D Content
Magnetic 3D introduced Hypervue, a new creator plugin suite designed to make glasses-free 3D content creation accessible within the 3D tools creative teams already use.
The platform is designed to support Unity, Unreal Engine and Blender, allowing advertising agencies, brands and in-house creative teams to adapt real-time, interactive and rendered 3D projects for Magnetic’s autostereoscopic displays without building a custom production pipeline.
According to Magnetic 3D, Hypervue works by replacing the standard scene camera with a Magnetic 3D multi-view camera rig. Smart visual guides help creators place content in the correct depth range, while familiar settings such as focal length, interocular distance and scale control the 3D effect.
“Creators using Blender, Unity, or Unreal can implement the Magnetic 3D Hypervue camera in an existing project in about ten minutes,” said Tom Zerega, founder and CEO of Magnetic 3D.
“That means any agency or professional power user can unlock shared immersive experiences, and the profit potential that follows, without reinventing the wheel.”
Magnetic 3D said advertising agencies and experiential studios can add glasses-free 3D to their offerings without rebuilding their teams around a special pipeline by downloading the camera plugin.
According to Magnetic, each plugin is designed for specific creative workflows. Hypervue for Unity supports real-time apps, games and interactive experiences, while Hypervue for Unreal targets high-fidelity environments such as virtual production and AI-powered avatars. Hypervue for Blender supports artists, animators and motion designers creating rendered 3D content using tools such as Cycles and Eevee.
