Behind the Booth at InfoComm 2025 gives you a front-row seat to the people and products shaping the show floor. In this sponsored series, we sit down with top executives from InfoComm exhibitors to find out what they’re showcasing, which trends they’re watching and how they’re pushing the ProAV industry forward. This interview features PlexusAV‘s Steven Cogels.

Q: Why is PlexusAV exhibiting at InfoComm 2025, and what are you most excited to showcase this year?

A: We’re exhibiting to show to integrators, consultants and end-users how PlexusAV is providing
true interoperability and enhanced connectivity to Pro AV installations. Our goal is to help integrators move faster and deliver cleaner installations with fewer headaches.

We’re excited to debut the P-AVN-HDBT-GTW, a flexible gateway that connects HDBaseT™ 3.0 devices into an IPMX network. We’re also previewing the P-AVN-CL-100, a single-cable USB-C hub that simplifies meeting room connectivity. Both products are built to solve real installation challenges and reduce system complexity.

Q: What trends do you expect to see dominating the show floor, and how is your company positioned to lead or respond to them?

A: We expect to see more demand for open standards and simpler integration. IPMX will continue to gain traction across almost any vertical. Hybrid signal environments—where multiple AV-over-IP protocols coexist—are common in today’s Pro AV systems.

We anticipate a continued rise in AI-driven solutions, particularly in automation, control, and monitoring. This presents significant value for integrators seeking to expand their revenue streams. What makes this even more powerful is that NMOS—the open standard for control, discovery, and monitoring used in IPMX —provides the essential framework to support and scale these innovations.

Q: Which new products, solutions or updates are you featuring — and how do they address current needs in the AV industry?

A: We are launching the P-AVN-HDBT-GTW, which connects HDBaseT™ 3.0 devices into IPMX networks and enables output back to HDBaseT™ 3.0.

To simplify setups we are also showcasing our P-AVN-HDBT-WP HDBaseT™ 3.0 wallplate series, supporting both HDMI and USB-C inputs with auto switching.

We are also launching the P-AVN-CL-100, a one-wire USB-C hub that handles charging, video, USB, and Ethernet over a single cable. Our updated AVN-4 and AVN-2 transceivers bring more efficiency to bandwidth-limited installs.

We’re also showcasing the Stream Conversion Gateway, which bridges protocols like MPEG-IP, IPMX, NDI-HX, RTSP, SRT, and RTMP.

And we’re highlighting Visual Array, our deployment and monitoring interface that simplifies configuration, video wall setup, and device management for large systems.

And we are showing …….. another new product. But this you will need to come check it out at Infocomm 🙂

Q: How is your company supporting integrators and end users in navigating today’s biggest AV challenges — not just at InfoComm, but year-round?

A: We give integrators the tools to work smarter across complex AV networks with less headaches and without being locked into a single vendor or technology. Our systems provide an extensive feature set including our unique dual stream functionality for traversing network bottlenecks allowing AV over IP to break free for dedicated networks. By supporting protocols like MPEG-IP, NDI-HX, RTSP, SRT, and RTMP, our Stream Conversion Gateway gives them a flexible way to connect different technologies and Visual Array lets them bring entire systems online in minutes. We also provide strong technical support, system design and clear documentation to help teams move fast and avoid downtime.

Q: Why should InfoComm 2025 attendees make a point to stop by your booth?

A: Attendees will see how we bring together protocols like MPEG-IP, IPMX, NDI-HX, RTSP, SRT, and RTMP in one seamless system and how IPMX provides multi-vendor interoperability.

Everything we’re showing is designed to help integrators reduce friction and deliver reliable results.

Q: Anything else you’d like to share ahead of the show?

A: InfoComm is where everything comes together—and there’s no better place to experience the full potential of PlexusAV in action. We invite everyone to stop by Booth 3581 to see how our commitment to interoperability, open standards, and integrator-focused design can help solve real-world AV challenges.
