Behind the Stand at ISE 2026: An Interview with Symetrix’s Tylene Hawley
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST

As ISE 2026 approaches, we’re highlighting some of the companies exhibiting on the show floor and previewing what they plan to showcase in Barcelona. This interview is with Symetrix‘s Tylene Hawley, vice president of sales and marketing.
Q: What’s driving your decision to exhibit at ISE 2026, and what are you hoping attendees take away from your presence this year?
A: 2026 is a milestone year for Symetrix as we celebrate 50 years of engineering innovation, while also gearing up for what’s next in the AV industry. We’ll be showcasing how our legacy of reliability, performance, and integrator-first design is evolving into a more scalable, software-forward AV ecosystem. Attendees should leave with a clear sense that Symetrix is not only honoring where the industry has been, but actively removing long-standing barriers around scalability, workflow complexity, and AV-over-IP design as we look ahead to the next decade.
Q: What solutions or experiences are you unveiling in Barcelona that showcase how your company is evolving?
At ISE 2026, we’re giving attendees a first look at a new approach to AV tools that goes beyond traditional site design. This includes software-first workflows that streamline configuration, simplify control interface creation, and extend into commissioning, monitoring, and system management. Alongside that preview, visitors can experience hands-on demos of our flagship DSP, control, and AVoIP solutions, including the D100 Server, Radius NX and Prism DSPs, and SymVue control interfaces, showing how high-performance audio and intuitive control come together in real-world deployments.

Celebrating five decades of trusted audio engineering, Symetrix will be showcasing how its legacy of reliability, performance, and integrator-first design is evolving into a more scalable, software-forward AV ecosystem. ISE attendees will be among the first to experience Symetrix’s new approach to AV tools that goes beyond site design – addressing scalability limitations, inefficient software workflows, and the growing complexity of modern AV-over-IP environments.
Q: Where is your biggest growth or momentum coming from as we move into 2026 — new markets, partnerships or product categories?
A: Our strongest momentum is coming from the convergence of software-first design and scalable AV-over-IP deployments. Customers are increasingly looking for systems that can grow over time, integrate more deeply with IT infrastructure, and reduce friction from design through operations. This is driving growth across enterprise, corporate, venues, and large-scale campus environments, as well as deeper collaboration with ecosystem partners focused on interoperability and networked AV solutions.
Q: For someone walking the show floor with limited time, why is your booth worth the stop?
A: In a short visit, attendees can see how Symetrix is rethinking the entire AV workflow, from design to deployment to sustained operation, while still delivering the audio quality and reliability we’re known for. Our booth combines hands-on demos of proven, award-worthy DSP and control platforms with a preview of what’s coming next, giving visitors both immediate, practical takeaways and a glimpse of how AV system design is evolving.
Q: Any sneak peeks or big announcements you can hint at before the show?
A: We’ll be teasing a major new technology that reimagines how AV systems are designed and deployed, addressing long-standing challenges around scalability, inefficiency, and complexity in modern AV-over-IP environments. While we’re keeping details under wraps for now, attendees will get an early look at a fundamentally different, more visual, and flexible approach to building AVC ecosystems.
