Benq RP02 Ifp, InstaShow WPS, and Laser Projectors Win Education and AV Product Awards

ClassroomCare RP02 Interactive Flat Panel and InstaShow Wireless Presentation System Win Platinum New Product Awards From THE Journal and Campus Technology
COSTA MESA, Calif. — Dec. 16, 2020 — BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, today announced that its new ClassroomCare RP02 interactive flat panel (IFP) was honored with two Platinum New Product awards in the interactive display category from THE Journal and Campus Technology. In addition, the BenQ InstaShow S wireless presentation system (WPS) won a Platinum New Product award in the classroom presentation tool category from Campus Technology.
“Our mission is to empower teachers with innovative, easy-to-use tools that help them spark the love of learning in every student, whether they’re in the classroom or at home,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ America Corp. “While we’ve been serving the education community in this capacity for years, we’re doubly honored to be recognized with these awards this year. We applaud our education partners as they work to create meaningful connections with their students in a quickly evolving environment due to COVID-19.”
BenQ is the only manufacturer to prioritize healthy technology use while helping classrooms transition seamlessly to collaborative, digital-based learning. With BenQ’s ClassroomCare RP02 IFP, teachers can utilize EZWrite 5, the leading annotation solution, to create an interactive and collaborative classroom. It features cloud whiteboard capabilities that allow users to interact with the screen from their mobile devices. The IFP also features BenQ’s Smart EyeCare solution, which intuitively protects users with the help of an embedded motion sensor. This sensor automatically activates Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light features by detecting the movement of users close to the screen. It also incorporates an air-quality sensor to monitor carbon dioxide in the room as well as humidity and temperature. Finally, a TÜV- and SIAA-certified germ-resistant screen kills most germs accumulating on the screen and prevents cross-infection or epidemics even after prolonged use. For ease of connectivity, BenQ added a front I/O port with USB-C and NFC reader. Because audio goes hand in hand with learning, it also features an 8-array microphone for speech enhancement and noise cancellation as well as a 15W subwoofer base.
BenQ’s InstaShow S WDC20 WPS is built for network-free, software-free classroom collaboration. InstaShow S differentiates on its affordability, completely app-free design, 4K resolution, and ability to split the screen among four devices — a notebook, smartphone, tablet, microscope, or any device with an HDMI out port. Additionally, it supports up to 32 different input users/sources — the highest on the market — and is the industry’s first all-hardware, plug-and-play WPS designed to ensure data and content privacy using advanced 128-bit algorithms.
Users simply plug the InstaShow transmitter into their devices and tap to share content via the latest wireless 802.11ac standards. Built to complement and maximize the latest trend of IFPs in the classroom, InstaShow S also features touch back, which allows users to control and annotate their presentations originating from Windows computers directly from an IFP. Moreover, when paired with a touch screen, InstaShow S’s split-screen mode can be used to control up to four laptops. Annotations made on the touchscreen can be displayed and saved on the laptop too for a seamless content pipeline that can be referred back to later.
