Biamp Launches New and Enhanced Solutions, Announces Microsoft Certification

Biamp today announced the launch of Devio UCX, Workplace Control and the enhanced VenuePolar Plugin with Community LVH-900 loudspeakers. The company also announced that the BMA 360D ceiling-tile microphone array is now certified for both Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
Devio UCX is a line of UC compute devices with integrated DSP that host Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms. Biamp said that it serves as the hub for the full Biamp peripheral ecosystem. A Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) Android appliance, each Devio UCX offers enterprise-grade security and can be managed
remotely through Biamp Workplace.
Devio UCX is offered in three compute tiers – Devio UCX 1000, Devio UCX 2000 and Devio UCX 3000. Devio UCX 1000 is ideal for huddle spaces and small-to-medium conference rooms, and Devio UCX 2000 is ideal for medium and large conference rooms. Biamp said that Devio UCX 3000 enables dual display support, enhanced processing power and advanced AI feature readiness. The Devio UCX system features a 10.1-inch Apprimo Touch 10 UCX Series panel, available in tabletop or wall mounted models.
“Devio UCX represents a fundamental shift in how organizations can deploy and manage UC conferencing technology,” said Joe Andrulis, executive vice president of Corporate Development, Biamp. “By integrating professional DSP directly into the platform, Devio UCX eliminates the need for additional components and creates a true single-manufacturer solution that scales seamlessly across every room type. Whether you’re outfitting one room or an entire enterprise, Devio UCX delivers a streamlined, consistent experience that simply works.”
Workplace Control is a new intelligent AV autonation platform that is built on the Biamp Workplace platform and runs natively on TesiraFORTÉ X Series digital signal processing (DSP) hardware. Workplace Control is built on three core pillars — simple, flexible and powerful — and scales accordingly across the full range of deployment scenarios.
Biamp said that integrators can discover Biamp devices, drag and drop them into a design with simple panel layouts and generate a complete control configuration.
Deployments requiring more flexibility can leverage the platform’s broad
ecosystem compatibility, including the ability to import existing Biamp Impera drivers or create new drivers for third-party devices.
The platform also supports custom Lua scripting, advanced logic and integration of complex third-party devices for demanding projects. A new Workplace app, Workplace Control Designer, provides an integrated design environment for user interface design, programming and deployment.
The redesigned VenuePolar Plugin for EASE Focus 3 and Community LVH-900 loudspeaker system are now available in two simplified models. The company said that the enhanced Community LVH-900 puts fully steerable line array performance into a point source in an effort to open up point source simplicity and fully steerable line array precision to medium-sized venues.
The company said that the redesign of the Biamp VenuePolar Plugin aims to make custom steered coverage self-service for the first time. Any acoustical consultant or integrator can now design exact venue coverage without the need for a specialist. VenuePolar guides every designer through cabinet configuration, system EQ and beam optimization automatically.
The company’s finite impulse response processing now opens the LVH-900 to live performance monitoring and broadcast applications. Venues can also switch between event configurations in seconds via Armonia+ presets without touching hardware, and software-reconfigurable coverage protects the investment against renovations or seating reconfigurations.
Biamp also announced that its BMA 360D has earned Zoom Rooms Certification. The BMA 360D is a ceiling tile microphone array that features beamforming technology and Dante audio connectivity. The company said that the BMA 360D is designed for hybrid workspaces. When integrated with Tesira DSP, the BMA 360D offers exceptional customization capabilities, including advanced echo cancellation and AI-driven noise reduction.
“We’re committed to delivering extraordinary, high-performance audio solutions that integrate seamlessly with the collaboration platforms our customers utilize,” said Andrulis. “Zoom Rooms certification for the BMA 360D validates our dedication to providing IT professionals and system integrators with effective audio solutions that enhance the meeting experience while integrating with room architecture.”
