Bolin Technology Debuts Two 4K PTZ Cameras, Production Controller at NAB Show 2026

Bolin Technology introduced three new products at NAB Show 2026: the Range PTZR camera, R9-L420N Large Sensor PTZ camera and the KBD Plus Advanced PTZ Production Controller.
Bolin Technology said Range is the first PTZR camera built to function in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Range features 4K60 video and 25x zoom powered by a 1/1.8-inch Sony sensor. The company said Range is suitable for a wide range of environments, including studios, performing arts venues, sports production and live events. It also includes a concealed rain wiper and is designed to operate in a variety of weather conditions.
Range also includes a motion system with brushless motors capable of PTZR movement up to 300° per second and acceleration from 0° – 120° per second in 200 milliseconds. The image module aims to enable vertical video, creative camera angles and horizon correction through 270° rotation. The solution features an integrated screen for live preview and support for Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The R9-L420N PTZ camera is designed for productions that require high image quality and precise system synchronization.
The camera includes a 1-inch sensor paired with advanced image processing, delivering 4K60 video with up to 20x zoom and 1080p up to 120 fps for high-frame-rate capture.
Bolin Technology said the camera’s hybrid autofocus combines phase-detection speed with contrast-based precision, allowing for quick acquisition and consistent focus during live production. The R9-L420N also enables alternate framing to be generated from the same camera image.
The R9-L420N supports LTC timecode and Genlock for multi-camera productions, aiming to ensure accurate synchronization with other cameras and production systems. Built-in ND filters allow for fine-tune exposure in varying lighting conditions.
The KBD Plus Advanced PTZ Production Controller is designed to simplify PTZ operation, integrating camera control, monitoring and automation tools into a single interface. Bolin Technology said built-in decoding allows operators to display live video from up to four IP camera sources simultaneously, helping streamline monitoring during production.
The KBD Plus also features a new joystick designed for smoother response and increased durability, along with buttons that allow operators to customize presets and control behaviors.
Bolin Technology said a future software update will introduce AI-based subject tracking, allowing PTZ cameras without built-in tracking capabilities to gain automated tracking functionality through the controller.
