Cleerline Debuts 2.0 mm Fiber Patch Cords
The Cleerline Technology Group has introduced 2.0-millimeter fiber optic patch cords designed to be 30% thinner than conventional fiber patch cords.
The company said the SSF 2.0mm Patch Cords enable easier installation without compromising strength or performance. Cleerline also noted that its patch cords are engineered to withstand rough handling and tight cable routing, making them well suited for mission-critical applications.
“With the demand for increased bandwidth we are seeing on both commercial and residential installations to accommodate 4K and 8K video, the increased applications for AI, as well as an explosion of connected devices, integrators must consider the benefits of a fiber optic infrastructure on behalf of their clients,” said Ryan Prentice, president of Cleerline. “Our 2.0mm fiber patch cords are pre-terminated and pre-tested to exceed industry standards for insertion loss and reflectance, placing the ultimate time and space-saving solution in the hands of installers.”
Cleerline highlighted its patch cable configurator, a web-based tool designed to streamline design, quoting and ordering process for prefabricated fiber patch cords of any length or quantity.
Integrators can select the desired fiber optic cable type, connector style, cable length and assembly customizations from drop-down menus. The company said all cables are tested to exceed industry standards prior to shipping.
The SSF 2.0mm Patch Cords are available with LC and SC connectors in UPC and APC polishes, with customizable lengths.
Cleerline will be in booth N76 at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas, June 17-19.
