Entertainment Industry Veteran Joins MUS immersive Board of Advisors
MUS immersive has appointed Darcy Troy-Pollack to its Board of Advisors.
According to MUS immersive, Troy-Pollack will advise the company on experiential strategy, strategic partnerships and the development of standardization and scalability in immersive entertainment.
Prior to joining MUS immersive, Troy-Pollack held roles at MGM Resorts, where she launched and led MGM’s immersive group; Walt Disney Imagineering, where she helped establish and lead a new experiences group focused on projects outside the parks; and Sony Retail Entertainment, where she played a key role in developing some of the first themed urban entertainment centers.
“Darcy’s expertise across immersive entertainment, intellectual property strategy, and experiential design makes her an invaluable addition as we continue building the future of cinematic experiences,” said Joel Roodman, co-founder & chief executive officer of MUS immersive.
MUS immersive said it plans to launch the Celeste immersive venue in New York in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by an expanded network of Celeste venues in 2027. The company said these efforts, along with the support of Troy-Pollack, signal the emergence of a new category at the intersection of cinema, technology and live experience.
“I’ve always been drawn to experiences that bring people together through storytelling and genuine human connection in physical space. Celeste gives us the opportunity to reimagine hospitality within an immersive cinematic environment—a versatile platform that serves as a true home for community while delivering unforgettable experiences. I’m excited to help guide the company’s vision as immersive experiences continue to fuel the future of entertainment,” said Troy-Pollack.
