Extreme Productions Becomes First Middle East Rental House to Deploy Green Hippo’s Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series

Extreme Productions has officially deployed Green Hippo’s Award-Winning Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series. This makes Extreme Productions the first rental house in the Middle East to invest in the platform, which is now available to designers and production teams across the region.
Extreme productions said that this decision directly reflects the evolution of productions in the region in size, sophistication and visual ambition.
“We need tools that match the ambition of this market,” said Vincenzo Testa, partner and technical director at Extreme Productions. “The MEUSE MX gives our clients access to the highest level of media server performance, right here in the region. That’s a game changer for the productions we’re delivering.”
The Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series includes four swappable output modules that support HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and 12G SDI. This aims to provide flexibility for production teams in server configuration. The built-in genlock serves to ensure frame-accurate synchronization across complex multi-screen and multi-projector setups. Green Hippo said that the uncompressed playback is included in an effort to deliver high-quality visuals.
Procom Middle East is the official distributor for Green Hippo in that region and is supporting the expansion in providing customers with access to the technology.
Green Hippo said that the partnership reflects the company’s dedication to collaborating with leading rental houses worldwide for universal availability of their solutions.
“This is an important milestone for both companies,” said Tom Etra, senior sales manager for Green Hippo. “Having MEUSE available through Extreme Productions significantly expands the visibility and accessibility of the MX Series in one of the fastest-growing production markets in the world. Their track record and client relationships make them the ideal partner to bring this technology to the region.”
