Hitomi Broadcast to Launch MatchBox Panorama at NAB Show 2026

Hitomi Broadcast plans to unveil the MatchBox Panorama at NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas. Hitomi said the MatchBox Panorama is a visualization platform that unites timing and latency measurements from across production workflows.
The system is designed to reduce the number of lip sync errors by consolidating all timing measurements, enabling engineers to view their entire infrastructure in one place and identify sources of latency. Hitomi said that MatchBox’s approach uses an audio and video pattern that was created either in a MatchBox Generator or with the MatchBox Glass iPhone app.
According to Hitomi, the major advance in MatchBox Panorama is that it not only monitors multiple test pattern sources but also allows data probes to be inserted at any point in the signal path. This means the engineer can align all feeds and identify where circuits or equipment are contributing significant latency.
“Live sport is hugely important to American audiences, and lip sync and latency issues can ruin the experience,” said Russell Johnson, director, Hitomi. “At NAB, we will demonstrate how MatchBox Panorama brings every probe and measurement together in one place, making it simple to optimise timing across complex, contribution workflows. This also provides opportunities for other sporting environments, such as Colleges and Universities, to achieve the same, professional and effective latency set-up.”
MatchBox Panorama is a standalone software solution, but Hitomi said that it is designed for open integration into larger, interoperable production environments. The company believes that the platform is already successfully proven within the Grass Valley AMPP ecosystem and that further partners will be announced soon.
