Klipsch Celebrates 80 Years with new Loudspeaker Launches

Klipsch announced that it is launching the Limited Edition 80th Anniversary Klipschorn alongside its first heritage bookshelf loudspeaker, Rebellion, and the Ko-R2 loudspeaker. The solutions make their official debut June 4-7 during the HIGH END Vienna 2026.
The new anniversary Klipschorn is a fully horn-loaded loudspeaker that reimagines and revitalizes Paul W. Klipsch’s original patented design of 1946. The loudspeaker will be limited to 280 pairs available worldwide. It features a two-way design and is finished in a Tigerwood veneer, as well as a folded-horn design for bass extension and efficiency of its enclosed low-frequency cabinet and K-33-E 15-inch woofer.
Limited Edition 80th Anniversary Klipschorn buyers will also receive a complimentary membership to the Klipsch Museum of Audio History. The Museum’s mission is to restore, preserve, maintain and display audio artifacts and archival materials for historic purposes.
Klipsch also introduced its new rebellion Premium Bookshelf Loudspeaker inspired by its original 1858 design for the H8. It features a two-way design and immersive, low-distortion sound from a compact cabinet. It includes a K-702 tweeter mounted to a K-703 Tractrix horn with Klipsch Mumps. A new K-81-EP woofer aims to deliver deep low end and a rear Tractrix flare port aims to provide efficient air transfer to reduce port noise.
The kO-R2 loudspeaker officially debuted during Milan Design Week. Klipsch announced that it is now partnering with multidisciplinary artist and acoustic designer Devon Turnbull, founder of Ojas, for a unique demonstration experience outside the main venue during the HIGH END Vienna 2026. The limited edition collaboration includes 600 pairs available worldwide.
“We are proud to bring this unique, intimate listening experience to the world’s biggest hi-fi showcase,” said Vince Bonacorsi, COO of Klipsch. “This collaboration has not only inspired new audiences to embrace high-performance audio but has also been critically acclaimed by the audiophile community. It’s been rewarding to see this shared vision bring the joy and art of listening back to the forefront for fans around the globe.”
The limited edition kO-R2 two-way multi sectoral horn loudspeaker features a Ojas 1506 multisectoral horn, fabricated from heavy cast aluminum and finished with electroscopes and a flat black powder coat. The kO-R2 will be sold directly from Ojasin the US and through authorized retailers in Europe.
“When it comes to product development on our Heritage line, the most important design goal is to ensure that we are honoring the legacy and vision of Paul W. Klipsch and the Klipsch brand,” said Andy Spalla, Klipsch’s senior product manager. “For years Heritage fans have been asking for a bookshelf option, and there was no more appropriate way to start than with an original PWK design, so that Klipsch carries forward the legacy of Heritage Series category-defining loudspeakers proudly made in the USA.”
