LEWITT Launches New Update for Space Replicator Plugin

LEWITT announced a new update for the Space Replicator, a plugin for mixing in virtual studios and mix translation checks.
The company said that the update comes in response to community feedback, now offering the ability to tailor the listening experience precisely to individual needs including adjustable roominess, EQ and more. The update also provides access to the mixing room designed according to the official standards of the European Broadcasting Union, a new Analytic space and new headphone simulations, including common mixing headphone models.
The update features new capabilities including standalone functionality without the need for DAW, improved audio quality and performance, the ability to shape each room to individual taste with per-room EQ and adjustable room ambience, as well as the ability to tune overall output sound with the new output EQ. Also included is the new balance slider for adjusting uneven headphones or hearing and the ability to save favorite setups and user presets.
New rooms include the ideal mixing room according to the official European Broadcasting Union standards and an analytic room with speakers for critical listening. New headphone simulations include H-M50 x, H-770 and H-7506.
LEWITT said that Space Replicator is also available as an Essential edition. With this update, Essential users get access to personalized binaural profiles for an accurate stereo experience. The company also said that Essential users get a free new acoustic space – the living room with smartphones and laptops as playback systems. The Space Replicator Essential license is also included in the software package of the LEWITT CONNECT audio interfaces.
“LEWITT has always been a user-focused company. We treat your feedback like a treasure and are happy to implement so many requested features in the 2.0 update. With the new customization options, you can now really make Space Replicator your own,” said Moritz Lochner, head of product management.
