MXL Microphones is set to debut its AC-360-A USB Conference Room Microphone at InfoComm 2026. The upgraded solution aims to simplify multi-microphone installations and ensure clarity.

The company said that the AC-360-A is a compact, all-metal USB microphone engineered specifically for professional meeting spaces. It features compatibility with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. The solution is powered by twelve internal microphone capsules arranged across four quadrants for 360-degree coverage. The system captures clear speech up to 5-feet in any direction, providing a25-foot diameter coverage area.

MXL Microphones said that the AC-360-A now can be expanded using 3.5mm TRS analog daisy-chaining, allowing multiple units to be connected in sequence. Audio is routed from the most distant microphone through the chain to the computer, where a single USB connection at the final unit manages the digital output. The solution combines analog daisy-chaining with one USB output, aiming to prevent instability and deliver more stable conferencing.

“Scalability was a key design priority when we upgraded the AC-360,” said Marc Bilderbach, product marketing specialist for MXL Microphones. “By enabling multiple units to connect effortlessly, users can now build a system that grows with their needs while maintaining consistent audio performance.”

The AC-360-A features a reinforced all-metal construction that the company said is suited for high-traffic conference rooms and shared workspaces. It was designed for fast and flexible installation with removable rubber feet and mounting pads. The company also offers an optional AC360CM ceiling mount adapter for permanent overhead installations.

“The AC-360-A reflects our commitment to making professional-quality audio simple and scalable for any meeting environment,” said Bilderbach.“Whether you’re outfitting a small huddle room or a large conference space, this microphone ensures consistent, intelligible audio without the complexity typically associated with multi-microphone systems.”
