Nanolumens has expanded compatibility between its Aurora video processing platform and the Engage Series surface-mounted device direct view LED display line.

The company said this enables a unified display and processing solution that streamlines deployment for AV integrators.

According to Nanolumens, the Engage Series integration with Aurora is the first phase of a broader rollout to expand Aurora compatibility across the Nanolumens LED display portfolio. Additional product lines are expected to receive support in 2026 for unification of the company’s hardware and processing technologies.

“Expanding Aurora compatibility to Engage Series is a response to customer demand for a more direct and cohesive system architecture,” said Brice McPheeters, vice president of product and planning at Nanolumens. “Integrators are looking for ways to reduce complexity while maintaining performance. By offering both the display and processing platform, we can better support those needs.”

Nanolumens said the Engage Series is a TAA-compliant platform that aims to deliver 23-bit true-to-source color, precise motion handling and fileless content management for environments that require consistent and accurate visual performance. The Aurora compatibility supports security and control requirements for organizations operating in sensitive environments. The capabilities are now available across the company’s premium SMD (Engage) and Engage Pro Chip-On-Board (COB) LED display lines.

The Engage Series is also designed for indoor environments where narrow pixel pitch and close viewing distances are necessary, such as corporate, broadcast and control room applications. Its 16:9 cabinet format aims to simplify content creation and video wall design by aligning with standard Full HD and 4K content aspect ratios.

The Engage Series is compatible with widely used processing platforms, including NovaStar and Megapixel VR. Customers can select the configuration that best meets their operational requirements.
