Planar has appointed Filip Cogghe as vice president of sales, marketing and service for Europe, the company announced.

Cogghe brings more than 25 years of experience in the AV and display technology industries. Prior to joining Planar, he served as sales director for global and strategic corporate sales at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH, where he helped shape and implement international sales strategies.

Cogghe, who is based in the Brussels metropolitan area, said the timing of the appointment aligns with the company’s next phase of innovation.

Cogghe is a graduate of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
