Powersoft Expands Sales With Three New Regional Hires

Powersoft has announced the expansion of the company team with three new hires. Powersoft appointed Timo Hildebrandt as regional sales manager for the Western United States, Rob Howitt as regional sales manager for the Northeast and Sunil Karanjikar as senior sales engineer.
Hildebrandt has over 20 years of experience within the AV industry, including work in sales leadership, management and operations. In senior leadership roles, he oversaw and managed profit and loss responsibilities and strategic marketing. Hildebrandt held leadership positions at Snap One, Resideo and AVAD, where he gained experience in sales development and growth.
Howitt comes from a background in audio sales and account management of almost 30 years. Howitt brings experience in commercial audio and distribution along with installed sound. Working in sales leadership at Blaze Audio, ADI Global Distribution and Audiopros at Powersoft, Powersoft believes that in his new role, Howitt will expand the company’s sales and regional footprint.
Karanjikar previously worked with live sound, system design and application engineering with over 21 years of experience in the industry. Karanjikar is an award-winning engineer with a previous role at Harman Professional Solutions, where he developed technical resources and supported large deployments. Powersoft believes that these skills will translate into his role as senior sales engineer.
“As our business continues to grow across the U.S., it is essential that we invest in experienced regional leadership and technical expertise that understands the realities of the market,” said Tom Knesel, general manager, North America for Powersoft. “Timo, Rob and Sunil each bring decades of hands-on experience working directly with integrators, consultants and end users across a wide range of applications. Their combined backgrounds in sales strategy, channel development and system-level engineering strengthen our ability to provide localized support and informed guidance.”
