PPDS, the global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has announced the launch of its Philips Signage 2000 Series, a new UHD digital signage range designed for everyday commercial applications.

Unveiled at ISE 2026, the Philips Signage 2000 Series is positioned as a solution for customers seeking essential signage capabilities without the added complexity of higher-tier models. The displays are built for 16/7 “dawn to dusk” operation and are available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes.

Each display features 4K UHD resolution and 400 nits of brightness, with support for both portrait and landscape installation. The series is intended for use in retail stores, corporate offices, hospitality venues, museums and educational facilities.

The Philips Signage 2000 Series brings signage right back to basics, equipped to support and satisfy simpler integrations that don’t require some of the bells and whistles found on our more premium offerings,” said Andrea Barbuti, global product management lead EMEA at PPDS.

The Philips Signage 2000 Series joins the company’s professional Android system-on-chip portfolio and is powered by Android 14. Native Android app support allows users to install applications directly onto the display, eliminating the need for an external media player.

The displays are also compatible with Philips Wave, PPDS’ cloud-based management platform. The system enables remote installation, monitoring and control, including firmware updates, playlist management and power scheduling.

For additional reliability in commercial environments, the series incorporates PPDS’ FailOver technology, which automatically switches to backup content in the event of a media player failure to prevent screens from going blank.

The modular design allows optional expansion with the CRD22 module for WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as compatibility with Philips ScreenShare for wireless content sharing. PPDS said this approach aligns with its sustainability strategy by supporting reuse, recyclability and reduced electronic waste over the product lifecycle.
