In this pre-InfoComm 2026 episode of Rants & rAVes, I spoke with Sean Driscoll from GPO Display. During our conversation, Sean explained how power-over-Ethernet displays can simplify installations, expand placement flexibility and help reduce failure points by eliminating the need for traditional power infrastructure in certain environments. We also discussed the growing role displays are playing in broader communication and emergency messaging strategies, particularly in higher education, government and other mission-critical spaces.

The conversation also covered TAA compliance, long-term display maintenance and why some organizations are moving toward simpler, more secure display deployments with fewer unnecessary features and external devices.

At InfoComm 2026, GPO Display will showcase its full lineup of PoE panoramic LCDs, including a new 57-inch display debuting at the show, alongside LCD video walls, kiosks, touch displays and a preview of upcoming direct LED technology. GPO Display will exhibit in booth C8184 in Central Hall of the LVCC.
