As part our pre-InfoComm 2026 Rants & rAVes series, I spoke with Bryan Chan, head of U.S. RBU at E Ink, about the company’s growing role in the digital signage market and the evolution of large-format color e-paper.
During our conversation, Bryan explained how advancements in color technologies such as Spectra 6 and Kaleido are expanding the possibilities for e-paper beyond e-readers and into commercial signage applications. We also discussed the significance of E Ink’s new 75-inch displays, the challenges of scaling e-paper technology and why ultra-low power consumption continues to be one of the technology’s biggest advantages.
