RF Venue Introduces Diversity Fin IPX Antenna

RFVenue

RF Venue announced the availability of the Diversity Fin IPX antenna. The company said that the solution represents the next evolution of RF Venue’s industry standard flagship antenna.

The company said that the Diversity Fin IPX matches the performance of the original Diversity Fin in an IP44 rated design built for touring and outdoor applications. The solution was designed for live sound professionals and system integrators in need of performance consistency.

“For years, the Diversity Fin has been the go-to solution for eliminating wireless microphone dropouts,” said Chris Regan, Chief Innovation Officer at RF Venue. “With the IPX version, we’ve taken that same trusted performance and made it ready for outdoor use.” The “bulletproof” design of the Diversity Fin IPX features a hardened housing and is IP44 rated, utilizing a weather-resistant seal and downward-facing BNC connectors for rain and dust resistance.

The antenna features RF Venue’s cross-linear polarization design from the original Diversity Fin solution. The design combines a long-periodic dipole array and dipole antenna in one housing. This aims to capture vertical and horizontal signals in an effort to eliminate multi-path interference.

“By utilizing a cross-linear polarization design,” Regan said. “The IPX handles whatever you throw at it on tour, capturing signals regardless of how the performer holds the transmitter or what multi-path environment you find yourself in.”

The solution begins shipping April 30, 2026, in either Matte Black or Matte White finishes. Each unit ships with the LPDA antenna body, a pair of horizontal dipole antenna elements and a threaded EU adapter for its integral microphone stand connector.
