Roland Highlights 4K Production Workflow at InfoComm 2026
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST

At this year’s InfoComm, Roland demonstrated how its expanding 4K portfolio is simplifying modern video production workflows. The goal behind its latest products is straightforward: help users transition from HD to 4K without adding unnecessary complexity. Let’s take a virtual walkthrough of Roland’s booth while exploring the company’s latest solutions.
The V-1-4K Video Switcher
First up is the V-1-4K Video Switcher. Released earlier this year, the all-HDMI switcher supports resolutions and frame rates up to 4K 60p while allowing users to scale virtually any source to match their production needs.
The switcher includes five HDMI 2.0 inputs and six outputs, including HDMI, USB and multi-view. It also offers multichannel audio mixing, built-in control for a wide range of PTZ cameras and remote operation through dedicated Roland control apps for macOS, Windows and iPadOS.
One of the most interesting features is the Region of Interest (ROI) mode, which allows users to create up to four unique virtual camera shots from a single 4K camera source. Instead of deploying multiple cameras for a panel discussion, classroom or training space, users can capture one wide shot and generate multiple angles from it, reducing both hardware requirements and setup time.
The VC-1SC-4K Video Converter/Scaler
The other major product Roland highlighted at InfoComm was the new VC-1SC-4K Video Converter/Scaler. Roland describes it as a “Swiss Army knife” for 4K AV production, combining multiple video processing tools into a single device.
In addition to 4K 60p conversion and scaling, the VC-1SC-4K includes audio embedding and de-embedding, HDMI-to-SDI conversion and advanced signal management features.
One of its biggest advantages is its dedicated control application, which provides centralized access to screen resolution, aspect ratio, ROI cropping and other settings. As demonstrated below, users have precise, dot-by-dot control over the output image, making it easy to fine-tune content for LED walls and other displays. The Advanced ROI feature also enables fast cropping to emphasize specific portions of an image without requiring additional processing hardware.
Roland’s message at InfoComm 2026 was consistent across both products: simplify 4K production without sacrificing professional capabilities. Whether through virtual camera angles, centralized control or multifunction video processing, the company’s latest offerings are designed to reduce hardware requirements while making 4K workflows more accessible for corporate, education, worship and live event environments.
