Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) has introduced its new P Series LCD laser projectors, expanding its installation lineup for corporate, higher education and commercial environments. The launch also marks the completion of the transition of NEC installation projectors to the Sharp brand.

The P Series includes the XP-P621U-W and XP-P701U-W models, both designed to simplify installation while delivering high brightness and low-maintenance operation. The projectors feature manual horizontal and vertical lens shift, a 1.6x zoom lens and HDBaseT input, allowing integrators to transmit audio, video, network and control signals over a single cable.

The series also supports tilt-free and roll-free installation, enabling floor, ceiling and portrait projection for creative or space-constrained applications.

With brightness levels up to 7,000 lumens, the P Series is designed to maintain image clarity in high ambient light environments, including large corporate meeting rooms, higher education lecture halls, museums, houses of worship and other commercial spaces.

Sharp said its patented sealed cooling system enables a filter-free design, reducing maintenance requirements and supporting quiet operation.

“The P Series represents the next step in our commitment to raising the bar in projection technology,” said Ryan Pitterle, Senior Product Manager, Projectors, Sharp Display Solutions. “When we pair advanced features like the filter-free design and whisper quiet operation with lens shift and HDBaseT support we give customers a reliable solution that works across a variety of environments.”

Both models offer WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution with support for 4K UHD input signals and 21:9 aspect ratio compatibility. The projectors use a laser light source rated for 20,000 hours, designed to eliminate the need for lamp replacements over the life of the unit.

The Sharp P Series projectors are available through authorized Sharp partners and resellers and include a five-year or 20,000-hour limited parts and labor warranty, whichever comes first.
