HARMAN Luxury Audio Group today announced that Shelley’s Stereo, the Woodland Hills-based retailer has been named the newest dealer to carry the JBL Summit Series, the newly launched five-model line of ultra high-performance loudspeakers.

Shelley’s joins a select group of dealers nationwide chosen to represent the full JBL Summit lineup — Summit Everest, Summit K2, Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama — each engineered with JBL’s acoustics and material technologies and named for a peak of the Himalayas.

Shelley’s Stereo was founded in 1959 and has provided Southern California clients with systems built for reproduction of their music. Alon Moscovitch, who joined Shelley’s in 1987 and became its owner and president in 2001, leads the company today from its Woodland Hills showroom.

“Since 1959, we’ve built this business one relationship at a time, always chasing the same thing, which is sound that moves people. The first time I heard JBL Summit, it simply sounded lifelike. Every song had an emotional impact and an instrumental presence I don’t get tired of. It belongs in our showroom,” he said.

Shelley’s will celebrate its new JBL Summit dealership with an open house planned for early in the fourth quarter of 2026 at its Woodland Hills showroom. Additional details will be announced closer to the date.

The JBL Summit Series includes Summit Everest, Summit K2, Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama. Summit Everest is a .5-Way, dual 15-inch floor-standing reference loudspeaker that features three 2-inch dual-motor compression drivers and dual 10-inch cast-frame Differential Drive mid-bass drivers as well as a pair of 15-inch Differential Drive woofers. Summit K2 is a 3-Way 15-inch floor-stander, and Summit Makalu is a 3-Way 12-inch floor-stander that anchors the sound foundation of Summit Makalu. Summit Pumori is a 3-Way 10-inch floor-stander that features a 1.5-inch dual-motor compression driver and 8-inch cast-frame mid-bass driver, as well as a 10-inch cast-frame woofer. Summit Ama is a 2-Way stand-mount loudspeaker with a inch dual-motor compression driver and 8-inch cast-frame woofer.

Each model is powered by JBL’ Sonoglass HDI horn and triple-layer HC4 composite cone, engineered for stiffness and low distortion. Each also employs JBL’s proprietary MultiCap crossover network and engineered IsoAcoustics isolation feet.
