Xyte Announces New Command-Line Tool, Expanded Workflows and Automations Capabilities Ahead of InfoComm 2026

Xyte made several new announcements ahead of InfoComm 2026. The company officially introduced expanded Workflows and Automations capabilities alongside the launch of the Xyte CLI command-line tool. Xyte is set to demonstrate its advanced workflows at InfoComm 2026.
Xyte CLI aims to give enterprise teams and AI agents a shared foundation for operating connected device fleets. The company said that with the new tool, teams can automate workflows that were previously manual, pulling firmware versions across a fleet and comparing them against the latest public releases to flag outdated devices.
The solution features a built-in Skills Bootstrap that can be installed with one command, aiming to equip AI agents with pre-built operational instructions for the environment and eliminating custom integration work. Xyte said that sensitive actions must be confirmed by a human before following through, requiring governance for major changes. Xyte CLI is now available and will be demonstrated at InfoComm 2026.
“IT teams are under pressure to do more with less, and AI agents are increasingly capable of helping, but only if they can act on the real world safely,” said Omer Brookstein, CEO and cofounder of Xyte. “Xyte CLI gives operators and AI systems a shared foundation: approved actions, full audit trails and the confidence that nothing happens without accountability. That’s the foundation organizations need to move from AI-assisted insights to AI-driven operations.”
Xyte said that its expanded Workflows and Automations capabilities aim to enable enterprises and managed service providers to schedule, automate and centrally manage device operations across any number of rooms, sites and devices. The company said that Workflows serves to provide sustainability benefits, allowing for automation of routine device management.
The new capabilities allow IT teams and service providers to automate repetitive device operations, spanning daily power cycles and firmware upgrades, in a centralized way. Key capabilities include recurring workflows, such as device reboots and input resets, one-time schedule commands and bulk workflows to apply the same automation across several devices and a centralized Workflows dashboard for visibility of status.
“Organizations have been leaving money on the table simply because managing device schedules across hundreds of rooms was too complex,” said Johnny Bhonker, director of product at Xyte.”Workflows change that. With a few clicks, an IT team can automate power management across their entire device fleet and start generating real, measurable savings from day one. This is a major step toward autonomous infrastructure management.”
