Yamaha launched the R200A 2-channel stereo receiver, introducing a new generation of Hi-Fi performance, versatility and value. The solution features a new design with performance enhancements including Bluetooth Multipoint connectivity, a direct phono input, a dedicated subwoofer output and Hi-Fi circuitry for cleaner, more accurate sound reproduction.

The R200A powers up to speakers with flexible A/B speaker selection. Upgraded binding-post speaker terminals aim to provide a more secure, reliable connection, while the new center beam chassis design suppresses vibration-induced interference to preserve signal integrity and create a more immersive listening experience.

The company said the R200A also includes enhanced grounding circuitry, carefully selected components and a newly designed heat sink.

The solution includes support for both classic and modern audio sources for flexibility. It also features a dedicated phono input for turntable connectivity and Bluetooth Multipoint that enables users to switch between two devices with ease for a seamless music listening experience. A built-in AM/FM tuner with 40 programmable presets allows users to easily set, save and listen to their favorite stations.

The Yamaha R200A Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth will be available in November 2026.

“With the R200A, we set out to create a stereo receiver that serves as a starting point into the world of Yamaha Hi-Fi while delivering a level of sound quality and performance that will surprise even long-time enthusiasts,” said Alex Sadeghian, director of consumer audio at Yamaha. “Re-engineered inside and out, the R200A represents a significant step forward in entry-level Hi-Fi with elevated design, connectivity and audio performance.”
