Hunter Douglas has launched the Pinnacle Dealer Partner Program, a new partnership model designed to simplify dealer engagement and support long-term business growth.

The Pinnacle Program introduces a single, standardized structure with no participation fees, volume-based tiers and defined benefits. Dealers are automatically placed into one of eight tiers based on prior-year bookings, with higher tiers unlocking more competitive pricing, expanded support and additional marketing resources.

According to Hunter Douglas, the program was developed in response to dealer feedback calling for clearer qualification criteria, fewer administrative barriers and more transparent reward structures. By removing participation fees and consolidating support programs, the company said it aims to make it easier for dealers of all sizes to participate and grow.

“We heard loud and clear that dealers wanted fewer barriers to participation,” said Maren Gehling, director of sales, custom home and integration strategic partnerships at Hunter Douglas. “By eliminating participation fees, we’re making it easier for partners of all sizes to engage with the program, unlock value, and grow their business from day one.”

As part of the program, Hunter Douglas has introduced a Dealer Success Allowance that combines multiple existing support initiatives into a single flexible fund. The company said the change is intended to speed issue resolution while reducing administrative complexity for dealers.

The Pinnacle Program also incorporates Alta Window Fashions, a brand within the Hunter Douglas portfolio, as an option for certain projects. Alta offers a more streamlined assortment of window treatments, which the company positioned as suitable for budget-conscious applications or secondary spaces while remaining within the same program structure.

Beginning in the second quarter of 2026, Hunter Douglas plans to introduce the Pinnacle Excellence Program, a performance and development framework that will evaluate dealers based on operational excellence, engagement and growth rather than sales volume alone. The company said the initiative will support future coaching, certifications and recognition opportunities.

Dealers will receive ongoing communications about tier status and performance through their business development managers, with final tier confirmations scheduled for January.
