Hunter Douglas officially announced that Alta Window Fashions motorized shades are now compatible with PowerView Automation, aiming to allow custom integrators to incorporate a value-conscious option for automated shading into layered residential projects.

The company said that this serves to provide dealers with automated shading for secondary rooms and budget-sensitive spaces. Hunter Douglas said that Alta Window Fashions aims to give integrators access to a wide array of shading styles homeowners expect including roller shades, honeycomb shades, natural woven shades, sheer shadings and wood blinds.

The company said that curated fabrics, textures and finishes across the portfolio to help dealers maintain design continuity and tailor specifications to different project goals. Hunter Douglas said Bringing Alta into the PowerView Automation ecosystem reflects its continued focus on helping integrators approach shading projects with greater versatility, portfolio depth and confidence in the homeowner experience.
