Disguise Opens 8,000-Square-Foot Experience Center in Atlanta
Disguise has opened a new 8,000-square-foot office and Experience Center in Atlanta, expanding its presence in the Southeast and providing a hands-on space for creators, technologists and production teams.
Located in the historic Westside Paper building in West Midtown, the facility includes workspace for Disguise’s creative and technical solutions teams, a dedicated hardware support center for the Americas and an Experience Center designed for workshops, demonstrations and community events.
The new center is intended to give users access to the same real-time production technologies used on major concert tours, live events, Broadway productions and film sets. Disguise said the space will host training sessions and industry events focused on pre-production, system integration, projection workflows and creative sequencing.
“From festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury to in-stadium fan engagements, and Broadway shows like Maybe Happy Ending to Hollywood film productions, over the past 25 years, Disguise has transformed how audience experiences are being created,” says Disguise SVP of Customer Excellence, Sarah Lewthwaite. “This expansion gives us the ability to be closer to our clients in the Southeast and offer a more dedicated, in-person experience for exploring creative ideas, testing technology and collaborating on ambitious projects together.”
The Experience Center features a virtual production LED stage designed for demonstrations, prototyping and research and development. The stage is powered by Disguise Studio Pro, the company’s virtual production solution, and a GX 3+ media server. The LED volume is built using Planar CarbonLight CLI Series and Leyard ALF Series LED panels.
Disguise said the facility will offer regular software, hardware and projection mapping demonstrations, allowing visitors to test workflows and explore new approaches to immersive storytelling before deployment in live environments.
“Our expanded focus on Atlanta and the Experience Center underscores who we are today: a partner dedicated to delivering end-to-end solutions for our community,” says Lewthwaite. “This investment highlights our commitment to supporting customers across the full lifecycle, from concept and creative development through to technical design, delivery and ongoing enablement.”
The Atlanta expansion reflects Disguise’s broader strategy to support customers with integrated software, hardware and services across live events, immersive experiences, virtual production and broadcast applications.
