Hornets Tech announced that it will showcase a new range of encoders, decoders and IPTV platform at IBC2026.

The company said that the SDI encoder takes up to 16 SDI inputs in a 1RU unit and converts them to MPEG-TS for IP distribution, with a matching decoder converting them back. The ST 2110 encoder and decoder provide the same function for uncompressed ST 2110 video and audio, allowing facilities to send feeds off the production network without carrying uncompressed signals throughout. The HDMI encoder accepts up to eight inputs, including 4K60, from laptops, media players and other AV sources. An IPTV platform manages the channel line-up, feeding a set-top box capable of displaying up to eight streams across two screens.

“We have built one platform, but that does not mean everyone has to use it the same way,” said Alistair Horne, director at Hornets Tech. “Turnkey hardware, software on your own servers, or white-labelled under your own brand, depending on the operation. Support comes from the engineers who built it, not a call center.”

Hornets Tech has supplied RF systems since 2006 and is an authorized reseller for Domo Broadcast Systems, formerly Cobham RF. The company said the range covers onboard camera transmission suitable for motorsport, sailing and air racing, ENG and live sports links and film assist. COFDM receivers aims to offer up to 16-way diversity with sub-40 ms latency.

Hornets Tech will be at IBC2026, Amsterdam RAI, 11-14 September.

We will have people on the ground throughout IBC2026,” Horne said. “If you want to see the new range or talk through where it fits, let’s meet.”
