Autoscript Launches Voice Controller for WinPlus-IP

as

Autoscript today launched Voice Controller for WinPlus-IP, a new voice-controlled prompting solution that enables presenters to control the movement of their script by speaking.

Voice Controller is powered by the speech recognition technology behind the fully automated Autoscript Voice solution and integrated with WinPlus-IP prompting software. The solution allows the prompt to respond to the presenter’s delivery without the need for dedicated hand or foot control hardware. The company said this aims to give presenters greater control over their own pace and allows them to concentrate on delivering the script.

Voice Controller expands Autoscript’s voice prompting options for automated production environments. The company said the system will work wherever audio can be routed, making integration into existing workflows straightforward. It allows the presenter’s delivery to determine the movement of the script, aiming to provide an effortless alternative to traditional manual scroll control hardware.

Autoscript will introduce its new voice-controlled prompting solution at this year’s IBC show in Amsterdam. Attendees at the event will be among the first to experience demonstrations of the system, with hands-on sessions available throughout the exhibition at Booth 13.A05.

“Voice Controller allows the presenter’s own delivery to control the movement of the script, giving them one less thing to think about while they’re on air. We have made that interaction feel as natural as possible, so presenters can concentrate on what they’re saying rather than how the prompt is being controlled,” said Robin Brown, prompting specialist at Autoscript. “Our new voice prompting solution, together with our industry leading prompting hardware, demonstrates our continued commitment to delivering reliable, intelligent prompting technologies for our customers.”
