Allen & Heath officially announced their collaboration with leading manufacturers in the audiovisual industry in an effort to deliver easy control and monitoring via their AHM audio matrix processor range.

The AHM series features Device Control Files that can be built and imported or designed to meet needs of a wide array of projects. It also includes pre-built drivers that work to enable control of third-party equipment. The company said each file includes the commonly used parameters and functions to enable teams to get projects running quickly and cost-effectively.

“It’s important to us that AHM users can fully enjoy a simple and scalable system,” said Samantha Potter, commercial audio manager at Allen & Heath. “That’s why we’ve ensured our AHM mixers provide everything needed to control the equipment and brands people already know and trust.”

AHM works seamlessly with Allen & Heath’s free, customizable Custom Control app, as well as their IP Controllers and CC touch panels.

Allen & Heath said that it offers a free on-demand course on their website alongside live online AHM certifications. the company also runs regular live online Control Network Certification classes, covering DCFs, 3rd party control, GUI design and more.

“We’ve collaborated with manufacturers to enable easy control of third-party products including Audio-Technica’s ES Wireless, ATND and System 20 PRO,” said Potter. “There’s also support for Sennheiser’s TeamConnect ceiling range, Visionary Solutions’ large range of devices, general PTZ Camera Control, and Projector Control – all seamlessly importable and usable with AHM. You can use them as is or customize them further based on the equipment’s API.”
