Amazon Web Services announced the AWS Elemental Inference, a fully managed AI service that the company said is designed to maximize live and on-demand video broadcasts to engage audiences and generate revenue.

The product will enable video customers to adapt video content into vertical form. This allows broadcasters and streamers to reach social and mobile platforms without manual post-production.

The service uses an agentic AI application that analyzes video in real time and applies the right optimizations at the right moments.

AWS said that this product allows you to focus on video production while the system takes care of optimizing content to create a personalized experience for audiences.

The service integrates with AWS Elemental MediaLive, so users can enable AI features without modifying existing video architecture.

The company listed some of the key features of the product, including vertical video creation, which turns landscape broadcast into vertical formats, and clip generation with advanced metadata analysis, which detects and extracts clips from live content highlights for real-time distribution.
