Axion Launches V3 Android PoE Touch Screen Lineup

Axion

Axion officially released its V3 Android PoE Touch Screen lineup for professional integrators. The company said that the updated lineup aims to deliver improved performance across all screen sizes.

The V3 lineup is available in 5.5-, 8- and 10-inch models and now includes an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, providing faster app launches, smoother navigation and improved responsiveness when running control, monitoring and visualization applications.

The company said the new touch screens are powered by an industrial version of Android 14 developed with long-term stability and product longevity in mind, making it suitable for the CEDIA channel. Axion’s Android PoE Touch Screens are control-system agnostic, and dealers can deploy them with a wide range of home automation, lighting, security, surveillance, access control, intercom, energy management and building-control applications.

The screens can also be installed in projects without centralized control systems. Apps can communicate directly with compatible devices and cloud-based platforms in an effort to allow for the creation of dedicated interfaces for systems such as IP cameras, door stations, lighting controls, thermostats, audio systems and other connected equipment. PoE serves to simplify installation by delivering power and network connectivity through one cable.

The Axion V3 Android PoE Touch Screen lineup also features octa-core processing for improved speed and responsiveness, 4GB of RAM standard across all screen sizes and 32GB of internal storage. Other features include access to Android applications through the Google Play Store, standard U.S. single-gang mounting compatibility and flexible installation for residential and commercial spaces.

“Dealers are looking for high-quality interfaces that perform well, look professional and are offered at a price customers can get behind,” said Chris Allen, chief product officer at Axion. “We’re excited to provide a solution that helps meet that market demand while giving integrators the freedom to choose the application that works best for each project.”
