IC Realtime officially launched Bunker, an edge-AI platform that aims to deliver security intelligence for residential spaces. Bunker is powered by NVIDIA Jetson edge computing technology, and processes visual information, identifies activity that departs from established patterns and learns the recurring rhythms of a specific home or property over time.

Bunker’s open, device-agnostic architecture works across IC Realtime hardware, compatible third-party cameras and other connected property devices, uniting them under a unified intelligence layer. This aims to provide integrators with flexibility to design based on each space’s unique needs.

IC Realtime said Bunker processes core AI functions closer to where video is captured in an effort to enable low latency, contextual detection, plain-language notifications, natural-language video search and unified multi-camera awareness.

The company said Bunker is designed to change the industry’s operating model from reactive surveillance to continuously learning property intelligence. Instead of treating every motion event equally, the platform develops context around the people, movement, timing and recurring patterns that define a specific property.

“On a large property, there is activity throughout the day, and a traditional system can treat all of it as equally important,” said Matt Sailor, CEO of IC Realtime. “Homeowners do not need more notifications or hours of footage to review. They need intelligence that understands the difference between normal activity and something that deserves their attention.”

IC Realtime recently announced a $2 million Series A funding round earlier this year to accelerate its software and AI capabilities and has since expanded its portfolio with IC Realtime TV for Apple TV, a smart video doorbell and other AI-enabled surveillance products. The company said these developments reflect the company’s broader evolution from a professional surveillance hardware provider into a software and intelligence-led security platform solution.

At launch, Bunker will be offered through Standard and Premium prepaid subscription plans supporting up to 10 camera streams per system. Both plans include the complete AI platform, contextual alerts, natural-language video search, mobile and web access, Video Vault clip storage and automatic over-the-air platform updates. Bunker is designed to receive new capabilities, performance improvements and software enhancements wirelessly over time. Standard includes 60 days of cloud video history, while Premium includes 365 days and priority access to new features. Dealer early access is expected to begin shortly following Bunker’s September debut.

Bunker made its officially debut at CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver.
