Behind the Stand at ISE 2026: An Interview With Nureva’s Rob Abbott
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST
As ISE 2026 approaches, we’re highlighting some of the companies exhibiting on the show floor and previewing what they plan to showcase in Barcelona. This interview is with Nureva Executive VP Rob Abbott.
Q: What’s driving your decision to exhibit at ISE 2026?
A: ISE has an excellent track record as a key industry event where we can connect and engage with our channel, end users, other companies we work with, the press and analysts. The event continues to grow and expand, and its timing early in the calendar year is ideal.
Q: What are you hoping attendees take away from your presence this year?
A: We want people to see that Nureva is much more than a niche audio conferencing solution. With the introduction of the HDX series, our range of audio systems will cover a comprehensive set of large-space audio use cases — and do it in a way that is uniquely adaptable and simple.
If you’re an IT or AV manager at a university, this means we have solutions for all your learning and meeting spaces (except for the larger auditoriums). If you’re a corporate IT manager, this means we can cover your large and extra-large spaces, including divisible rooms and temporary or flexible spaces.
Q: What solutions or experiences are you unveiling in Barcelona that showcase how your company is evolving?
A: We’re showcasing our evolving Nureva® product line that includes the award-winning HDL audio conferencing series, the new HDX full-room audio series and the comprehensive management and monitoring tools in Nureva Console and the Nureva App. Much of our focus will be on the HDX series, which is making its European debut. We’re excited for this audience to see and hear it!
Q: Where is your biggest growth or momentum coming from as we move into 2026 — new markets, partnerships or product categories?
A: The short answer is all of the above. The introduction of the HDX series will take Nureva into many new spaces and use cases. As a simple example, HDX will be an ideal solution for a university looking to equip a lecture hall with a comprehensive audio system, even if they aren’t planning to have distributed students.
Overall, we see a significant unmet demand for a simple-to-deploy, adaptive solution that covers more audio use cases, including full-room distributed audio, full-room microphone coverage, assistive listening, voice amplification and voice lift.
Q: For someone walking the show floor with limited time, why is your booth worth the stop?
A: For many people, this will be their first introduction to the new HDX series. In addition to showcasing it at our booth, we’ll have a meeting room nearby where people can have hands-on time with our products and hear how great HDX sounds. By spending a few minutes at our booth and the meeting room, visitors will see how we make large-room audio incredibly easy. We’ll also have a range of experts from our team at ISE, so people can have deep discussions on almost any topic — from sales and marketing to products.
Q: Any sneak peeks or big announcements you can hint at before the show?
A: We think the highly innovative features and functionality available with the HDX series we’re showcasing will really turn heads. But as a dynamic new platform for us to build on, it will also evolve in exciting ways as we add new features throughout the year.
