Cameo has expanded its OPUS series with the introduction of the OPUS X4 IP, an IP65-rated LED spot profile moving head designed for outdoor and large-scale live event applications.

The fixture brings the performance of the OPUS X4 into a weatherproof housing, targeting dry hire companies and production providers working in touring, festivals and stadium environments. It features a 1400-watt white LED engine delivering 50,000 lumens, along with a zoom range of 5 to 55 degrees.

The OPUS X4 IP includes a range of effects tools, including two rotating gobo wheels, a rotating animation wheel, iris and a four-blade framing system with +/-60-degree rotation. Color control is handled through a CMY mixing system, supported by two additional color wheels, a linear CTO filter and two frost filters.

Control options include DMX/RDM, Art-Net, sACN, W-DMX and CRMX, allowing integration into a variety of lighting control environments. A touring case insert is also included for transport.

Cameo said it prioritized maintaining consistency between the indoor and outdoor versions of the OPUS X4. Despite the addition of IP65 protection, the fixture’s size, weight and handling remain nearly identical. This allows users already familiar with the OPUS X4 to deploy the IP version without changes to workflows or show design.

The company also emphasized spare parts compatibility between the two versions, which is intended to simplify maintenance and reduce downtime for rental and production companies managing mixed inventories.

The OPUS X4 IP is available now and is designed to support outdoor productions requiring high-output lighting with full feature sets in weather-resistant enclosures.
