Cameo Expands OPUS Series with OPUS SP6 IP and H6 IP

Cameo

Cameo announced that it is expanding its OPUS series to include a new performance class – the 600-watt, IP65-certified moving heads are aimed at rental, dry-hire and production companies seeking spotlights with practical features for medium to large-scale outdoor productions.

The company said that the OPUS H6 IP has been specifically developed for applications where a single fixture needs to handle as many tasks as possible. Cameo said that the solution is suitable for dry-hire and rental stocks that need to be deployed economically and flexibly across a wide variety of productions.

The OPUS H6 IP features a 600-watt LED white light engine that delivers 22,000 lumens of light output, as well as a zoom range of 1.8 to 53 degrees and continuous path rotation. The company said that the creative potential of the OPUS H6 IP is complemented by four prisms on two levels that serve to enable aerial effects and complex beam structures.

The fully lockable framing system with ±87-degree rotation aims to enable precise beam shaping. The solution features a large zoom range of 3.5 to 53 degrees in an effort to create both narrow, clearly defined spots and wide-areas of light possible. The OPUS H6 also features a 165 mm front lens, compact housing and a weight of 31.5 kg, aiming to provide a practical solution for touring and outdoor application use.

Cameo said that both new OPUS models are NFC-ready and compatible with the Cameo CONNECT app. The company said that this aims to allow users to carry out configurations as well as service and maintenance processes particularly quickly and efficiently in one place. Both fixtures are supplied with a matching flight case insert.

The Cameo OPUS H6 IP hybrid moving head and the OPUS SP6 IP spot profile moving head will be available from July 2026.
