Just 7.1” / 180 mm deeper and matching the 35.5” / 800mm width of the revolutionary DML500 loudspeaker, the 45Hz –300Hz (-10dB) LS208 subwoofer adds low end punch to the FlatPanel Audio arsenal.

Its compact size and 41.8 pound / 19 kg weight is ideal for when you require low end support but lack the space, budget, or need to reach the lower frequencies handled by our LS212 and LS118 subwoofers.

Combining the LS208 with the DML500 or DML500A loudspeakers provides a full-range package for everything from simple background music to high energy environments such as bars, restaurants, dance clubs, and intimate live sound venues where exceptional intelligibility and a natural sound are required.

LEA Professional hosts prebuilt DSP setups (input, crossover/HPF, EQ, limiters, etc.) intended for Connect Series amplifiers that are customized for FlatPanel top and sub combinations. These dedicated tuning files can be easily imported in WiFi-compatible Connect Series amps via the Web UI.

LS208’s product manager Bryan Cole developed the product for installations constrained by space or require a unique mounting solution. Extending the DML500’s low-frequency performance, the LS208’s 48Hz –275Hz (-6dB) response is driven by two robust 8-inch drivers featuring heavy-duty 2-inch voice coils. Together, they deliver 700W continuous power and an impressive 2800W peak.

The subwoofer’s bass reflex, semi horn-loaded port design features a 6th order bandpass with asymmetrical acoustic chambers that delivers a surprising amount of low end power.
