Genetec is set to showcase its latest investigation capabilities in Security Center SaaS at NRF PROTECT 2026, taking place June 8-10 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas.

The company said that it will demonstrate how retailers can investigate incidents that increasingly span multiple stores, systems and camera vendors, helping security and loss prevention teams connect evidence quicker.

Genetec said that Security Center SaaS aims to bring investigation workflows into a single cloud-managed physical security platform in an effort to enable retail security, asset protection and loss prevention teams to resolve cases faster.

The platform organizes video clips, snapshots, tags and related evidence into chronological storyboards in an effort to support structured case building. It features AI-assisted description summaries to help teams document findings and improve collaboration with law enforcement.

Security Center SaaS supports cloud-based and hybrid deployments. The company said that this aims to give retailers flexibility to modernize security operations across locations. The platform combines video management, access control, intrusion, automation, forensic search and investigation workflows within a single interface.
